Thank you for the comment Louise, for it is comforting to know I have company in this ~ I've been discovering that we're kindred spirits in more ways than one :-) I like this phrase you shared, very much --- "the process of creating more conscious space." Minimalism is becoming quite the trend, but the word doesn't do it for me, whereas conscious intention does!

Hi Rosa,
So glad I did not miss this post. A gem! Like you, I've been in a purging, simplifying and letting go "phase" for several years. Ever since we moved "West," sold a big Victorian house which I/we meticulously decorated and filled, the process of creating more conscious space has been on-going. It has been much easier (but not without some challenges) than I ever expected. I still love beautiful objects and no doubt will "acquire" some, but the balance is now solidly tipped to the being vs. having side of experience.
Whether the motivation is economic, environmental, space or getting a little more Feng Shui savvy in one's space - paring down changes one's energy. And for me, it has been liberating.
BUT - I too have had a much greater challenge in letting go at the level of information and knowledge. Here I experience much more resistance. My file folders are a bit of an embarrassment - but I'm working on it - this letting go thing.
So thanks for this - I love the concept of the text playlist - and the reminder to take time to savor the abundance and not to get hooked on acquiring more!
